ARIANA SHAHEEN AMINI & CHRISTINA MAHEEN AMINI are sisters, writers, and collaborators. Their literary collaboration began early, when older sister Ariana taught Christina to read. Christina asked “How do you do that?” and Ariana showed her! Ariana has taught elementary school, led writing workshops for children, and holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College. Christina is a writer and editor, and works to share the magic of books as an executive publishing director at Chronicle Books. Ariana and Christina live just two miles from each other, with their families, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
